The Iron Rail is located in the heart of Bolingbroke, Ga. Come step inside to learn the rich history of the town. Bolingbroke, founded in 1874 by William Wadley, was the bustling town for trains and farming. The restaurant sits inside the fully restored post office for the railroad in the early 1900's. Come learn about the history on the walls of the dinning room with original letters and photos from the late 1800's.

The Watson Family is the proud local owners behind The Iron Rail, the newest Southern dining experience in Bolingbroke, Ga. With deep roots in the South and a shared love for comfort food, family traditions, and bringing people together, they’ve created more than just a restaurant — they’ve built a place that feels like home.
Raised on recipes passed down through generations, The Watson’s grew up surrounded by the flavors of cornbread, slow-smoked meats, fresh greens, and sweet tea — and now they’re sharing those same tastes with the community they love. Their goal? To offer a menu that honors classic Southern cooking while creating a warm, welcoming space for everyone who walks through the door.
